MINORITIES IN AQUACULTURE
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
OUR flagship program is our tailored summer internships, launched in 2022 to create meaningful career development opportunities for women of color in aquaculture. Designed to align with each participant's interests, these internships offer a hands-on, immersive experience across various sites, exposing interns to the diverse conservation efforts and innovative practices shaping the industry.
By rotating through multiple roles and environments, interns gain comprehensive knowledge, build valuable skills, and develop a clearer path for their unique career aspirations. Our program empowers women of color to thrive in aquaculture while fostering a more inclusive and dynamic future for the field.
